Karen's Story
Happy life after high school, traveled the States and abroad, best husband ever, 4 kids, very satisfying career with high school kids, left the Midwest for sunnier climate and rarely go back, only short visits to see family, none of whom live in Emporia. My only EHS contact has been my very best friend through all these years. Lifelong interests include travel, reading, political activism, daily sunshine, fresh air and music are necessities, museums, anthropology, history, KUHoops, photography. Only SM is IG and Twitter. for being raised in Emporia with ESU being the centerpiece. I’ve always been drawn to college communities, more diversity with an emphasis on what you know rather than what you own. Hope you have all had wonderful, fulfilling lives after high school. Happy to see 2020 behind us and so looking forward to calmer, safer, less chaotic times with giant strides in equality and justice for all.
